Artist Exposition Event at Solaqua
Internationally renowned eco-artist Aligna to unveil an installation of new sculptures created at Solaqua on Saturday, August 7th, 2010



Chatham, NY, Jul 26, 2010 - /FLIERWIRE/-- SunDog Solar and Solaqua Power & Art are pleased to present an exhibition and installation of transformative sculptures. Meet world renowned international eco-artist Aligna (www.aligna.fr) on Saturday, August 7th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The exhibition will be held at the Solaqua Power & Art campus located on Route 295, just outside the village of Chatham.

Aligna has created solar flowers that will remain displayed at the entrance of Solaqua. Some sculptures will also be for sale at the event.

"We are thrilled to host an exhibition of Aligna's amazing sculptures. His solar flower sculptures embody Solaqua's mission of integrating renewable energy and the arts," says Jody Rael, Solaqua and SunDog Solar President.

Aligna's sculptures have been exhibited worldwide and his installations have garnered international acclaim. Recent projects include a growing Flower Park (complete with luminous cave) in Chars, France, and various large installations at Granville (Normandy), Battersea (London), Gerona (Spain), and Venice and Genova (Italy). Next is a big project in Calvi, Corsica.


Solaqua's mission is to integrate renewable energy and the arts, and promote a sustainable future through community education and revitalization.
